Description

Transmit Enable Register. Turns off UART transmitter for use with software flow control.

Fields

TXEN

Transmit enable. After reset transmission is enabled. When the TXEN bit is de-asserted, no data will be transmitted although data may be pending in the TSR or THR.
RESERVED

Reserved, user software should not write ones to reserved bits. The value read from a reserved bit is not defined.
